Sustainable display village

Switch your thinking worked in partnership with developers Stockland and WA builders to design and construct a home display village showcasing energy efficient and water wise design principles in 11 homes

The homes were mainstream, practical and affordable. The cost of the display homes were comparable with other ready to buy and off the shelf builder homes.

The display village at Newhaven in Piara Waters was the first in Western Australia to be rated at least five stars under the House Energy Rating Scheme.

Stockland demonstrated great leadership in becoming the first developer to work with south-east Councils to show how energy efficiency can be incorporated into new homes.
