Social handprint

The social handprint is part of the Sustainable Schools WA initiative and recognises that sustainability has social as well as ecological elements, such as cultural and social diversity, community partnerships and student well being. With this aim, Forest Crescent Primary School has initiated a ‘buddy bench’ where students can sit at recess and lunch if they don’t have anyone to play with and  students are encouraged to invite students sitting on the ‘buddy bench’ to join in their games.

The school also has a long history of supporting local charities including Good Sammy Industries, Cancer Council and Foodbank.
