Young Re-inventor of the Year - Water!

Re-invent rubbish into something that helps keep our water ways clean or conserves water! This was the challenge set for Young Re-inventor of the Year 2018 and over 130 unique re-inventions were created by more than 400 young people from across Western Australia!

Winning entries included jewellery made from soft drink cans, a bottle top mosaic and a shower filtering system. Please see below for a photo gallery of the winning entries.

We awarded two Change Maker awards, recognising young people that shared their waste reduction actions with their communities.

Zy Child in Coral Bay shared his video about ecobricks at the Exmouth Whale Shark Festival and the Coral Bay Celebration of the Reef Festival.

The students at St Hilda's Anglican School for Girls in Mosman Park documented their re-inventions in a short video shared with the community through the school website and Facebook page.
