Bird friendly gardens

Join BirdLife Western Australia to learn about how you can make your home and garden a bird friendly habitat and make the most of watching birds in your garden. More than just 'planting natives' you will learn the intricacies of designing a garden that holds true ecological value for our local birds and other native species. You will also hear how certain choices we make inside the home can influence how safe your garden is for the special birds in your neighbourhood. Finally, you will be offered the opportunity to share your important observations of birds in your garden with our national citizen science programs. After a seminar delivered by conservation scientist Dr Rochelle Steven, we will have time for questions, conversation and refreshments.

Registration is essential for catering purposes.
