Composting workshop

May 13, 2023 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

Free

In this composting workshop hosted by the City of Canning, Robyn from ‘Waste is my Resource‘ will talk to you about composting methods and the value of compost in your garden. Social enterprises available to people who don’t want to compost will also be discussed. Robyn will also demonstrate the setup of each method.

Earth-cycling is nature’s way of recycling – it’s the process of turning natural scraps (think food scraps, leaves and paper) into nutrient-rich compost which will help your garden and soil thrive.

The City of Canning offers residents a discount on the purchase of compost bins. The discounted cost of a 220L compost bin is $25. These can be purchased from the Waste Transfer Station at 81 Ranford Road, Canning Vale.
