Emeritus Professor Lyn Abbott will discuss 7 aspects of soil health with animations to help gardeners understand their soil.

Ellen Walker and Georgina Marsh from EarthWhile Australia will discuss and show gardeners the microbes that live in their soil using powerful microscopes.

Robyn Brown from Waste Is My Resource will provide practical advice to develop soil microbiology using compost, worm farms and bokashi.

This is an interactive workshop with hands on activities. There may be opportunities for people to view their own soil samples.

Bring along your curiousity - bring along your questions and comments to help build sustainability in the suburbs through a focus on our soil.

Refreshments will be provided. Please bring along a reusable coffee/tea mug :)
