Integrated Pest Management Workshop

Are there pests in your veggie patch? Are they getting to your produce before you can?

It is incredibly frustrating to find your beautiful home grown veggies have been ravaged by pests before you could even enjoy it. Many insects have beneficial effects for produce, but some are less than desirable to have as frequent visitors!

If you have ever felt yourself getting upset by these pests ruining your hard work, this is the workshop for you.

This Integrated Pest Management workshop will cover everything you need to take into account for dealing with pesky garden pests – from creating soil with the microorganisms to deal with them, learning about beneficial insects and how to encourage them, plus companion planting and crop rotation.

You will leave armed with some information that means you’ll get more of your produce and the pests will get less!

This workshop is proudly presented by Ecoburbia at the Canning River Eco Education Centre. The workshop is free and open to everyone.
