Presented by Fiona Blackham, this workshop runs through practical ways to garden on a budget including seed saving, cuttings, turning green waste into garden beds and utilising recycled materials to build with or grow in.
Understand the basic tools to use and where to get them from.
There will also be a demonstration on how to make a great compost tea for your garden, how to plant for your needs so you can avoid waste, and where to go to trade your extra produce.
Please bring a clean glass jar with lid, up to one litre, to take home compost tea. Also bring along any seeds you want to swap!
This workshop is suitable for adults and children aged 14 and over.
Brought to you by the City of Swan as part of the Living Green workshop series.
