Noongar Seasons and Native Plants - Bullsbrook

Join Natasha Bowden from SURCEL as she talks about the Noongar seasons and creating gardens using native Australian plants!

The South East Regional Centre for Urban Landcare (SERCUL) presents this workshop on the Noongar calendar and the role of native Australian plants in the garden. Discover the native Australian plants which were traditionally used by the Whadjuk Noongar people for medicine and survival, and how you can incorporate them into your own garden today!

In this presentation, as part of the Phosphorus Awareness Project, you'll also learn about the environmental impacts of phosphorus-rich fertilizers, and how we can protect our local environment by being more conscious of the things we plant in our gardens.

This event is brought to you by the City of Swan.
