Seed saving, food dehydrating and preservation workshop

Please note that this program is suitable for ages 14+, and is a presentation without hands-on activities. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event.

Explore the more unconventional side of seed saving and food preservation, permaculture style! This talk will cover basic tips and tricks for seed saving and storage, and less well known ways of preserving excess food. Move over jam and chutney! Let's talk dehydrators, fruit leather, veggie chips, water glassing eggs, home-made flour, nutrient powders and more. Delicious samples provided!

In accordance with hygiene requirements, social distancing will be maintained throughout this program and hand sanitizing stations and cleaning products will be available for use.
