Simple shopping bags - Sew Sustainable Saturdays

------SEW much textile waste in our society!

------SEW expensive to buy new!

------SEW much better to reuse and recycle!

------SEW why not learn a new skill and upcycle for free?

The Serpentine Jarrahdale Shire Library (providing sewing machines and overlocker) and Waste Education Officer Polly will be hosting FREE beginners sewing lessons (BYO used fabric to repurpose). SEW SUSTAINABLE!!

December's session will be making a simple shopping bag out of an old piece of clothing (large skirt or sarong) or table cloth or sheet (BYO) - there should be some materials available from SJ Reuse Shop to use (gold coin donate) if you can't BYO or are inspired to make more!
