Thinking Green: DIY Personal Products

Want to make your own natural, simple and cheap deodorant and toothpaste to take home?

Modern deodorants contain antiperspirant chemicals like aluminium to reduce the amount of sweat released by temporarily plugging the skin pores that lead to the sweat glands. Learn how to make a simple and very cheap deodorant that works on absorbing sweat and reducing smell, without the chemicals.

Research shows that fluoride helps re-mineralise teeth but there is some concern that fluoride can also be toxic over a period of time. Learn to make a simple toothpaste that replaces fluoride with CHOCOLATE. Believe it or not!

Participants will also receive a small gift or go into the draw to win a door prize.

This event is proudly brought to you by Switch your thinking, the City of Swan and presented by Waste is My Resource.
