Wonderful world of worms

Learn how you can set up and care for a worm farm at home to manage your food waste.

In this Lessen with Peg she will steer you in the right direction to making the perfect mix, creating a wonderfully nutrient balanced compost to boost your soil. Natures little troopers, worms, not only help to speed up the composting process but they also enhance the finished compost with nutrients and enzymes from their digestive tract.

This workshop is the second of two held in the Bassendean Community Hall. The first workshop is waste sorting and recycling. Between the two workshops there will be a lunch break from 12 to 1:30pm. Please ensure you register for both events if you are attending both.

All funds received from this event will go towards a sustainability prize draw where you have the chance to win an induction cooktop. Those who attend are automatically entered into the draw.
